About

bob-2

My name is Bob O’Hearn. I am retired from a career as a developer of natural and organic manufacturing, retail, and distribution systems in the United States. Currently, I live with my Beloved, Mazie, in a lovely little mountain town called Paradise, situated on the ridge of the Little Grand Canyon, in the foothills of the Northern California Sierra Nevada range. I am not affiliated with any religious system, program, or group, although in the course of my life (and after spending 7 years in a Catholic seminary) I have lived and studied with a number of spiritual teachers in both the Buddhist as well as the Advaitic lineages, including 3 years in a Rinzai Zen Buddhist monastery. I am grateful for the friendship of all who visit this page, and wish you all well in your various endeavors.

    Aloha Brother!

I can’t truly express how much your blog has touched me. You convey profound truths in such an accessible way through The Conscious Process. In Adventures in Dreamland, you share your experiences with such depth and detail that I feel like I am there with you. As a result, I have nominated you for a Liebster Award. Thank you so much for sharing these jewels with the world. I am eternally grateful for you, Bob.

oh my, now I see it is all YOUR work Bob, doh! I have been reading links posted by Christopher on T&ZCF for some time & loving them & wondering what sources they came from, lovely to know it’s all from one wise head, ha! I would like to *subscribe* to ALL of your publishings, is there an efficient way to do that? Blessings 🙂 Maree

    • Bob OHearn says:

Hi Maree! Thank you for your kind appreciation! I’m not sure if there is a way to subscribe to all the blogs in one fell swoop, but if you just click on each link and then click on “FOLLOW” in the top right, it will subscribe you.

      Blessings!

I have recently stumbled across your blog and saw that you often blog about confirmation and spirituality. I find topics like this to be completely enlightening. I don’t know if you have ever heard of Kirk Nugent, he is an incredible Light Worker. He writes and lives the same spiritual lifestyle that you write about. I think you may find him interesting. Take a look at the video I have attached and you will understand how life changing he can be. Thank you for your time I hope you find Kirk Nugent as inspirational and life changing as I do. I’d love to know what you think about him.

  9. Beautiful blog, since learning of Nisargadatta Maharaj, all paths lead back to his teachings even on wordpress!

    Hi Bob,

Your words go far beyond the intellect and into the very intelligence itself! It is like breathing a breath of immaculately pure fresh air!

    So…
The “I” consists of 100%, completely conditioned, automatic reactivity. It is simply an extremely complex, automatic thought process; thought leading to thought leading to thought. No independent “choice” lies there. There is zero deviation from the conditioned path.
So, what about all this talk of Awakening, or Enlightenment? There exists no such thing to awaken, unless it is the ego “I”, which awakens or not, depending upon it’s conditioned karmic path.

So, in that sense, I can understand the advice:
“There is nothing to do, or undo.
Nothing to want, nothing to force, and nothing missing. And everything happens by itself.”
